Azubi Africa is a non-profit organization dedicated to empower African talent to become part of the global workforce.
Since its inception, Azubi Africa has impacted over 4,000 African learners through skilling and job connections. With our AI-powered job board, we connect alumni with global opportunities, while employer engagement teams build partnerships with companies like Telefonica and Silicon Overdrive. Our vision is to transform the future of work in Africa and accomplish our objective of generating 10,000 tech jobs in Africa by 2027.
Our Mission: Closing the Opportunity Gap for Professionals of African Descent
Our goal is to build a future in which African talent may equally take advantage of global opportunities. Through the provision of tools and resources, our non-profit organization aims to improve accessibility for underprivileged African professionals, enabling employers to effectively hire and integrate competent talent from the African continent.
Working with us means that you’re contributing to a global impact on society rather than merely filling roles.
Addressing the African Tech Talent Advantage
Youth and Workforce Growth:
Africa is home to the world’s youngest population, with 60% of the population under 25 years old. By 2050, the continent’s working-age population is projected to grow by 70%, providing a vast and youthful workforce while other regions face declining labor forces.
Tech Growth and Innovation:
Leading global companies like Microsoft, Google, and IBM have invested in African tech hubs, acknowledging the continent’s emerging IT and tech ecosystem. Countries such as Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa are becoming tech powerhouses with significant contributions to the global digital economy.
Global Underrepresentation:
Despite making up nearly 17% of the global population, Africans represent only 3% of the global workforce. This disparity highlights the untapped talent pool on the continent.
Rising Education Levels:
Africa’s education systems are improving, with technical and digital skills on the rise. In 2020 alone, 640,000 African graduates earned degrees in STEM fields, such as technology, engineering, and mathematics, preparing them for global job opportunities.
